Ryan has over 17 years of RF semiconductor experience. His experience includes Director of Engineering at Skyworks Greensboro design center (which he founded), Engineering Manager of RFMD's Network Components Product Line Wi-Fi front end group, and RFIC design engineering positions in RFMD's Digital Cellular Product Line, Infrastructure Product Line, and Network Components Product Line Wi-Fi group. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Jeff comes to Guerrilla RF with over 15 years of semiconductor sales and sales management experience. He also brings invaluable experience working with start-up companies, having served as Business Development Manager for Triad Semiconductor, Inc. the past five years. Prior to joining Triad Semiconductor, Inc., Jeff was Area Sales Manager for Power Integrations, Inc. and Sales Manager for Beacon Electronic Associates, Inc. Jeff began his career as a Field Applications Engineer and a Quality Control Engineer for Oki Telecom, Inc. He holds a BSEE from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Alan is an RF industry veteran with over 20 years of design and applications engineering experience. He began his career as a design engineer for Motorola’s paging division in South Florida in the mid-1990’s. Alan’s experience includes RF front end and transceiver design. In addition, Alan has held engineering and management roles within other startup organizations. The last 10+ years of Alan’s career have been spent providing applications engineering support for RF Micro Devices, Inc. and Skyworks Solutions, Inc. He holds a BSEE with a mathematics minor from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Fred has over 30 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing Operations supporting leading RF/Analog technology for Military, Space and Commercial Applications. He began his career at Analog Devices as a Quality Engineer. His prior start up experience includes 21 years with RFMD and 8 years with Comlinear (acquired by National). Fred's experience includes establishing the initial quality systems, calibration, product compliance, failure analysis/reliability labs and volume production test capabilities at both Comlinear and RFMD. As Operations Director at RFMD, Fred was responsible for all aspects of back end processing (Receiving, Final Test, Tape & Reel, Warehouse Operations, and Global Calibration and Supply Chain Logistics). Fred holds a BSEE from Virginia Tech and was awarded the National 4-H Electric Champion Scholarship for the design and assembly of an all-electric car in 1975.
Joining Guerrilla RF in 2015, Steven has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace, automotive and semiconductor industries. Beginning his career with Lockheed Martin Manned Space Systems, Steven moved to Tyco International Automotive and finally to RFMD/Qorvo prior to joining Guerrilla RF. Steven is passionate about Quality and has broad technical and management experience in Quality Systems and Product Reliability. Steven earned his Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology/EET from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Billy has 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He began his career as a GaAs HBT and Si BiCMOS RFIC designer, and then moved into multiple management roles at RFMD, all related to product development. After 18 years at RFMD, Billy moved to Triad Semiconductor as VP Engineering. At Triad, he led the development of over 20 mixed signal CMOS ICs. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
John is a North Carolina CPA and has his BS in accounting from UNCG, an MBA from High Point University and an MSA from the University of Connecticut. John has 35 years of experience as a financial management executive, both in public accounting as well as in industry. John served as the corporate controller of Sara Lee Branded Apparel and the Director of Finance at RFMD. John has also served on and consulted with several boards in the nonprofit arena, including department chair at Salem College for their Nonprofit and Arts Management programs. He has taught at UNCG as well as held numerous education events as a moderator/presenter in financial management and corporate internal control. He is a member of the AICPA and NCACPA.
